A vintage Zanjan rug, woven in the mountainous region of northwest Iran, known for its bold medallion designs and rich color palettes.
This piece features a deep red field with a striking navy medallion at its center, surrounded by a dense floral scatter that adds movement and depth. The detailed borders, filled with delicate vine and blossom motifs, provide a beautiful contrast, framing the composition with balance and tradition.
Made from soft wool, this rug has developed a timeworn patina, with areas of low pile and scattered wear that enhance its vintage character. Likely woven 60-70 years ago, its softened hues and gentle wear reflect decades of history, making it a true classic with enduring charm.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
OUR PHILOSOPHY
We have been in the business for a while now and have been rewarded with happy and kind customers throughout the years. We know oriental rugs' prices can be crazily high online so we always source our products from authentic rug dealers abroad with the most affordable and reasonable prices, and choose the cheapest delivery option (even if it takes months!) so we can pass on the savings to our customers and price our rugs with the slimmest of margins. It always warms our hearts to see these old rugs find new spaces where they are appreciated as art and heirloom pieces. Don't be shy to ask questions. I'm always happy to help!
CLEANING & CARE
CLEANING & CARE
We personally vacuum and gently deep clean all the rugs using organic solution but keep in mind, we are not professional rug cleaners and so we still recommend a thorough professional clean especially for tough stains and to freshen the fringes when needed.
We recommend professional cleaning every 1 or 2 years depending how dirty the rug gets. It's also best practice to rotate the rug every month or so to avoid wear from developing easily on a single spot of the rug.
